Gwynt Y Môr is a bungalow in Tywyn. It's on a normal residential street, terraced with neighbours. The back has a small, walled courtyard for sitting out.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. Being all on one level makes it straightforward.
You're a few minutes' walk from the beach. It's a long, sandy beach. The promenade has a putting green and a café. The town is close too, with supermarkets, a swimming pool, and a good independent cinema.
The Talyllyn Railway station is in Tywyn. It's a narrow-gauge heritage steam railway that runs up the valley. It's a nice trip, especially with children. There's a museum at the station.
You're well placed for walking. The Mawddach Trail starts at Barmouth, which is about a 15 minute drive north. It's a flat cycle and walking path along the estuary. Aberdyfi is about 4 miles south, a nice village with a harbour.
For a day out, Cadair Idris is within half an hour. It's a proper mountain, so go prepared. The Dyfi Valley is also close for nature.
The facilities are what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for one car on the drive. There's a cot and highchair if needed. No pets, sorry.
