Hendre Barn Mawr is a converted barn on the edge of the village of Abergynolwyn. It's detached and because it was a barn, the rooms are big. The ceilings are high.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bathroom is a wet room on the ground floor. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means everything is in good order.
The garden is enclosed and there's parking on site. It has a wood burning stove, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
The village is quiet. There's a pub about five minutes walk away. It serves food.
You're right by the Talyllyn narrow gauge steam railway. That starts in Tywyn, which is about four miles away and has a beach. Dolgellau is a market town in the other direction, about eight miles.
You're at the foot of Cader Idris for walking. The coast at Aberdyfi is about twenty minutes by car. For bigger trips, you're well placed for the rest of Snowdonia National Park.
