Woodland View Bungalow 2 Pennal

This is Woodland View Bungalow 2. It's a detached bungalow on the edge of Snowdonia, near Pennal. You're on a site called Plas Talgarth, so there's a lot of woodland around you. The bungalow itself looks out onto trees.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, one has a shower and one has a bath. It's got a 3 Star rating. Everything's clean and works, it's not a luxury place but it's comfortable and has what you need. The living area is open plan.

You've got your own patio and garden. Parking is right there. There's a TV and wifi. Bedding and towels are included. Pets are allowed, up to two.

Being on the resort site means you can use the facilities. There's an indoor pool and spa you can use all year. The outdoor pool is open in the summer. You can book tennis courts. There's also mini golf, table tennis, snooker, that sort of thing. There's a pub and a restaurant on site, and a launderette.

Location wise, you're right on the southern tip of Snowdonia National Park. So walking starts on your doorstep. The Talyllyn steam railway is about seven miles away, that's a nice trip. Barmouth beach is about nine miles for a proper beach day. For waterfalls, Dolgoch Falls is around fifteen miles. The National Trust has a few places nearby too, like Powis Castle, which is about half an hour's drive.

It's a good base if you want to explore Mid Wales. Machynlleth is close for shops. You can get into the heart of Snowdonia in under an hour.
