Holy Loch View

Holy Loch View is an apartment in Strone, on the Cowal peninsula. It's about two miles outside Dunoon. The view from the living room is straight down the Holy Loch. That's the main thing.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. The place has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. You can bring one dog.

The kitchen has what you'd need, and there's a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. At the front there's a little seating area to look at the water. Out the back there's garden access and you can walk straight into the woods.

You're in Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. For a local walk, Puck's Glen is good. It's an atmospheric woodland path with waterfalls. Benmore Botanic Garden is worth a visit too, it's about a twenty minute drive. You can see the giant redwoods.

Dunoon is the nearest town, a five minute drive. It has shops, cafes, and a couple of supermarkets. The Castle House Museum is there if you're interested.

If you fancy a day trip, Inveraray is just under an hour away. You've got Inveraray Castle and the old jail. The Loch Fyne Oyster Bar is on the way. Further afield, you can get to the Isle of Bute via a short ferry from Colintraive.
