Corrie Massan is on our farm in Benmore. It's a detached cottage up a private track. The track is unmade but it's a good surface, you won't need a special car for it.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. We renovated it a few years ago, so it's in good shape. It's a working farm, so you'll see sheep and maybe hear a tractor. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. We allow up to three.
The main thing is the view. It looks straight out over the glen. You can sit at the kitchen table and watch the weather come in. There are walks right from the door onto the farm land and hills.
You're in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Dunoon is the nearest proper town, about a fifteen minute drive. It's got shops, pubs, a supermarket. You can get a ferry from there to Gourock if you want to go over to the other side.
For a day out, Benmore Botanic Garden is just down the road. It's impressive. The Puck's Glen walk is nearby too, it's like something from a storybook. You can drive to the Holy Loch in about ten minutes if you fancy being by the water. The coast around here is all sea lochs, so it's very dramatic.
Inside, it's got a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Plenty of parking.
