Benmore Drimfern is a bungalow near Dunoon, in Argyll. It's detached and looks out over the fields. You're inside the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything is on one level, so it's suitable for wheelchair users or if you just don't want stairs. There's a wet room and the doors are wide. The main bathroom has a walk-in shower.
There are two living areas. One is open plan with the kitchen. The other is a proper sitting room with big windows and those views over the fields.
You're on the edge of a working farm. It's quiet. There's a patio and a garden, and a BBQ. You can bring two dogs.
The location is good for what they call Argyll’s Secret Coast. Benmore Botanic Garden is literally next door. You can walk into it. Pucks Glen is also very close, it's a steep walk with waterfalls. For a bigger walk, the Argyll Forest is right there with marked trails.
Dunoon is about ten miles away for shops, a leisure centre, and a small cinema. If you take the short ferry from Colintraive to the Isle of Bute, you can see Mount Stuart or go to Rothesay. In the other direction, you can drive to Loch Fyne or up to Inveraray. All that is within about half an hour.
Facilities are all there: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right by the cottage.
