Benmore Drimfern

This is Benmore Drimfern. It's a bungalow in Argyll, near Dunoon. You're in the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park.

It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, and one is a wet room on the ground floor. The whole place is wheelchair accessible, which means no steps and wide doors. It's a detached bungalow, so you're on your own.

The main living area is open plan. There's also a second sitting room that has the best view. Big windows looking out over the glen.

You've got a woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.

You can bring two dogs. The garden is enclosed, but it's not huge. It's more of a patio with some grass.

The location is quiet and rural. You're right by Benmore Botanic Garden, which is worth a visit. Benmore Botanic Garden. Pucks Glen is just up the road for a walk, it's steep in parts but has good waterfalls.

Dunoon is about a 15-minute drive. It has supermarkets, petrol stations, a leisure centre, and a few shops. The local pub is a couple of miles away.

If you want to explore, you can get the short ferry from Colintraive over to the Isle of Bute. Inveraray and Loch Fyne are about 40 minutes north. Glasgow is just over an hour and a half by car, if you need the city.
