The Penthouse
The Penthouse is in Strone, on the shore of the Holy Loch. It's an apartment on the top floor of a Victorian house, right on the water. You look straight out over the loch to the hills. The garden gets the sun all day.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well kept and comfortable. Because it's the top floor of an old house, the stairs up to it are the original ones. They're fine, but they're typical for a house this age.
You're in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The view is the main thing. You can see seals sometimes. Dunoon is a short drive away for shops and things. There's a pub and restaurant about half a mile up the road.
If you want to get out, you can walk from the door along the shore. The Benmore Botanic Garden is well worth a trip, it's about ten minutes by car. For a longer drive, you can get to the rest of the Cowal Peninsula or over to Loch Lomond itself within half an hour.
Inside, it has what you'd need: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and towels are included. There's parking. There's a TV. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, I'm afraid.
