Crubisdale is a house in Blairmore, on the Cowal peninsula. It’s detached, so no neighbours on the other side of the wall. It sleeps eight, across four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms.
It’s got a 3 Star rating. That means it’s clean and has everything you need, but it’s not a show home. It’s a family holiday house.
The main thing is the view. It looks right out over Loch Long. You can see the water from the main rooms. The garden is enclosed. There’s parking for a couple of cars.
Inside, there’s a woodburning stove for chilly evenings. TV, WiFi, dishwasher, washing machine. All the bedding and towels are included.
The beach is about twenty yards away. It's a shingle beach. The local pub and restaurant are a five-minute walk. The shop is about a mile away, in the village.
You’re right in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. You can walk from the door. For a proper day out, the Benmore Botanic Gardens are nearby and worth seeing. Dunoon is the main town, about a fifteen-minute drive. It has supermarkets, shops, a cinema, and a swimming pool.
If you want to get out on the water, there are boat trips, sailing, and fishing all around here. No pets, sorry.
