Firwood Apartment
Firwood Apartment is in Kilmun, on the shore of Holy Loch. It's the ground floor of a detached house. We live upstairs with our dogs. You get the whole ground floor and the front garden to yourselves.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one is a double, and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. The big thing is the view. You can see the loch from the living room and the separate dining room.
We allow up to two small dogs or one larger one. The front garden is fully enclosed so that's handy.
Just so you know, the heating is electric storage heaters. They work fine, they're just not instant. There's no open fire. And there isn't a washing machine on the property. The Wi-Fi is included, but it can be slow or drop out sometimes. It's a rural spot, that's just how it is.
You park on the road outside. There's no private driveway, but we've never had trouble finding a space.
You're right on the sea. You can walk down to the shore. For a bigger day out, Dunoon is a short drive along the coast. Glasgow is about an hour and a half if you need a city. The whole of Argyll is on your doorstep for walking.
