Willow Lodge is in Kilmun, right on the shore of the Holy Loch. It's detached, so it's just you and the garden. The garden looks straight out over the water. It's very quiet.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The main thing is the view from the living room, it's all water and trees.
You can walk to Benmore Botanic Garden from here, it's about twenty minutes. The path through Pucks Glen is a five minute drive away. That's a good wet weather walk, very green and damp under the trees.
Dunoon is about six miles away for shops, a leisure pool, and places to eat. If you want to get the ferry, the crossing to Gourock is just outside Dunoon.
The property is in the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. There are forest tracks all around for walking or cycling. The Cowal Way long-distance path is nearby if you're keen. For a day out, you can drive to Inveraray to see the castle and the jail. It takes about forty minutes.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking for two cars. The facilities are what you'd expect: woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
