Ivy Cottage
Ivy Cottage is a small house in Dunoon. It's detached, on a quiet street. The beach is a few minutes walk away. The town centre is about fifteen minutes on foot.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. We refurbished it in 2020, so it's all new inside. It's well insulated and double glazed.
The back garden is enclosed. There's parking on the driveway. Everything's on one level, so it's okay if you have trouble with stairs. That also means it's wheelchair friendly at the entrance.
You're five minutes from the Kilbride Forest walk. For a bigger walk, Puck's Glen is amazing, it's like a fairy glen. Benmore Botanic Garden is about a twenty minute drive up the hill. It's good in any weather.
The local pub is about three quarters of a mile away. There's a leisure centre with a pool in town. Two golf courses nearby, Cowal and Innellan.
Dunoon has a pier and a promenade to walk along. The Castle House Museum is interesting if you like local history. In late August, the Cowal Highland Games are on. It's a big event.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring two dogs.
