Cluniter Cottage
Cluniter Cottage is in Innellan, on the Cowal peninsula. It's detached, but it's in the grounds of the main house. You get your own space though, and you can use the big garden.
It sleeps five. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's a 4 Star place. It's clean and well looked after, and it's all on the ground floor which is good if stairs are a problem.
The view from the front is over the water to the islands. You can see Arran and Bute from there.
Innellan village is a short walk. There's a shop and a couple of pubs that do food. There's also a golf course and tennis courts. The beach is about a hundred yards away, but it's pebbly. For a sandy beach, you'd drive to Kilbride Bay.
Dunoon is a few miles along the coast. That's where you'll find the bigger shops, a leisure centre with a pool, cafes, and the pier. The Waverley paddle steamer sails from there in the summer. If you like gardens, Benmore Botanic Garden is a good trip, maybe twenty minutes drive.
For walking, you can go along the coast path or up into the forests behind the village. The Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park starts just north of Dunoon. The Arrochar Alps are about an hour's drive if you want proper hills.
In the cottage there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a highchair. No pets, I'm afraid.
