An Darach is in Bullwood, which is a few minutes south of Dunoon. It’s a detached cottage up above the shore. You get the whole place and the garden to yourselves. The view is out over the water.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one is ensuite to the main bedroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s been renovated, so it's in good order and well-equipped. The stairs are fine. There’s a wood burning stove in the living room.
The kitchen is a proper size and has a dishwasher. There's a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. WiFi is there and works okay for a rural area.
Outside, the garden is enclosed. There's a patio with furniture. A large outbuilding has space for bikes or kayaks and there’s an electric car charging point. There's a small wildlife pond in the side garden, so you’ll want to keep an eye on young children around it.
The local pub is about a mile and a half away. Dunoon is close. It’s got a few pubs and restaurants, a cinema, and a leisure centre with a pool. You can get the ferry over to Gourock from there.
For walks, you’re right on the edge of the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. The Benmore Botanic Garden near Loch Eck is worth a visit. Kilbride Bay has a nice beach, about a twenty minute drive.
You can bring up to two dogs. There’s parking for your car.
