Baileyfield is in Sandbank, on the shore of the Holy Loch. It's a detached house, so you're on your own. The views are good. Straight over the water to the hills.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. That's handy. It's got the highest rating, so it's well-fitted and comfortable. It doesn't feel like a rental inside.
The main room has big windows looking right down the loch. There's a wood burner for the evenings. The main bedroom has a little balcony off it.
The garden is enclosed and private. There's parking and, as of last year, an electric car charger.
For a pint or a meal, there's a pub about 400 yards away. A shop is a bit closer. The proper town is Dunoon, a few minutes in the car. You've got everything there.
If you want to get out, you're in the right place. You can walk from the door along the shore. For a proper day out, the Benmore Botanic Garden is special. You're also on the edge of the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. Good for cycling or walking.
It says on the form you can bring up to two dogs. That's fine.
Everything you'd expect is here: washing machine, dishwasher, towels, cot if you need it. The wifi works.
