Lochside
Lochside is a flat in Kilmun. It’s a second-floor apartment in a building that looks out over the Holy Loch. It’s a 3-star place, so it’s comfortable and clean, not luxury.
It sleeps four in two double bedrooms. There’s one bathroom, which was newly fitted in May 2024. The living room has a multi-fuel stove for cosy nights. The kitchen is a decent size. You get one well-behaved dog.
You’re right on the edge of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Glen Eck is practically outside. The walks there are good for all levels, with some great views over Loch Eck. You’ll see red squirrels in Glenbranter Forest. For mountain biking, the Loch Eck Loop is popular.
There are a few things close by. Puck’s Glen is a famous walk with waterfalls. Benmore Botanic Gardens is a short drive. The Kilmun Mausoleum is basically next door. Dunoon is about ten minutes away for shops and cafes. The local shop and garage is half a mile away.
For a day out, you can drive to the Loch Fyne Oyster Restaurant in about half an hour. The coast has several beaches within a short drive.
For facilities: there’s a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We provide a cot and highchair. There’s private parking and a bike store. You have a patio area.
