Elfin Cottage

Elfin Cottage is in Barnacabber, near Loch Eck. It's a ground floor place. The main thing is the view from the decking. It looks right over the loch.

It sleeps up to four. Two bedrooms and a shower room. There's a sofa bed in the living room if you need it. It's got a four-star rating, so it's quite comfortable. Everything's on one level, which is handy.

You're in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Right outside, you've got Pucks Glen. It's a proper forest walk with waterfalls, starts almost from the door.

The local area is called Argyll's Secret Coast. It's all sea lochs and old forests. Dunoon is the nearest town for shops and things. There's a leisure centre and a small cinema there.

If you want to explore, the ferry at Colintraive goes over to the Isle of Bute. It's a few minutes on the boat. Rothesay is the main town there, it's a Victorian seaside place. You can visit Mount Stuart house and gardens.

Closer by, there are villages like Tighnabruaich. There's a great viewpoint on the road there that looks over the Kyles of Bute. Loch Fyne is about half an hour's drive for the seafood restaurant. Inveraray is a bit further, maybe forty minutes.

For facilities, it's got the basics covered: wifi, TV, parking, a wood burning stove. The kitchen has a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's another cottage next door you can book with if you need more space.
