Heatherdale
Heatherdale is in Sandbank, a village on the shore of the Holy Loch near Dunoon. It's a detached house, so no shared walls.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It has a 4 Star rating, which is a good standard. It's comfortable.
The main thing is the conservatory at the front. It's big, with big windows facing the loch. You get a clear view of the water from in there. Good for watching the boats go by, or just sitting with a coffee.
It's a seaside property, but the access to the shore isn't a private beach. There are paths along the lochside you can walk. You're a short drive from the ferry over to Gourock, if you want to head towards Glasgow.
Locally, there's a pub within walking distance. The Argyll Forest Park is on your doorstep for walks. Benmore Botanic Garden is about a 15-minute drive up the hill, it's nice for a wander.
If you want to explore further, you can drive up the Cowal peninsula. The ferry to the Isle of Bute is about 30 minutes away in Colintraive. Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park is about a 45-minute drive if you go via Inveraray.
Facilities: it has a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's on-site parking. The garden is a patio area. Two well-behaved pets are welcome.
