The Holly Tree Cottage is in Kilmun, Argyll. It's a detached stone cottage that used to be a byre.
It sleeps three in two bedrooms. One double, one single. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's a wood burner in the living area. You need to bring your own wood or buy it locally. The stairs up to the bedrooms are a bit steep, as you'd expect in an old building.
It's on a shared access track. You have your own garden and parking. The River Eschaig is at the bottom of the garden. It's very quiet.
Kilmun itself is small. There's a shop and a pub a short walk away. Dunoon is about a ten minute drive for bigger supermarkets, a swimming pool, and the ferry over to Gourock. The ferry crossing takes about 20 minutes. From Gourock you can get the train to Glasgow.
You're right on the shore of the Holy Loch. Good for coastal walks and fishing. The Argyll Forest Park is on your doorstep for walking. There's a golf course nearby.
The facilities are what you'd expect: TV, WiFi, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
You can book it together with the Holly Tree Lodge next door if you need space for more people.
