Holly Tree Lodge is in Kilmun, on the banks of the Holy Loch. It's a detached lodge. The back garden looks over the loch and the Eschaig River. The view is very good.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's a comfortable, modern place. The master bedroom has an en-suite with a walk-in shower.
There's a wood burning stove in the living room. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site. No pets, sorry.
The garden is on a slope, so you get different levels to sit on. You can see right up Glen Mason and over the water.
Kilmun itself is quiet. There's a local pub. You can walk down to the water. For a bigger walk, Benmore Botanic Garden is about ten minutes away by car. Dunoon is a short drive along the coast for shops.
If you want to be out on the water, the Holy Loch is there for sailing or kayaking. There's fishing locally too. For a good day out, you can drive to the Benmore Botanic Garden or explore the Argyll Forest Park. The historic Kilmun Church and Argyll Mausoleum are just up the road.
Inverary is about a 40 minute drive, Glasgow is around an hour and a half if you need the city.
This property can be booked together with The Holly Tree Cottage next door if you need space for up to nine people.
