This is Hawkshead. It's a one-bed apartment in a big old converted hotel in Ulverston. Sleeps three, but it's really best for two. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The place is open-plan. Kitchen, living area, and a dining bit all in one room. There's a separate bedroom with a decent bed, and a bathroom with a shower. The windows are big so it's quite light. It's been done up modern inside.
There's a small private garden out the back that's enclosed. It's got some shrubs and a bit of lawn. You get your own parking space.
Ulverston town centre is just down the road. It's a market town, so there are shops, cafes, and a few pubs. They have a few festivals during the year. It's where Stan Laurel was born.
The coast at Morecambe Bay is about ten minutes' drive. For the Lake District, you can be in Coniston or at the southern end of Windermere in under half an hour. There's a steam railway at Lakeside, and boat trips from Bowness. The Lake District National Park site is good for planning walks.
Facilities wise: WiFi, TV, washing machine, bedding and towels are included. No pets.
