The apartment is called Helvellyn. It's on the first floor of an old hotel in the centre of Ulverston. It's a modern one-bedroom flat, sleeps three.
It's open plan, so the living, kitchen and dining area are all one room. There's one bedroom and a bathroom off that. The building is old so the windows are big and let in a lot of light. The bed is comfortable. The shower works well.
There's a small, enclosed garden out the back that's just for this apartment. It's a nice spot if the sun's out.
Ulverston itself is good for pottering about. Shops, cafes, a few pubs. There is a Laurel and Hardy museum if you're into that.
You're about twenty minutes' drive from the Lake District. Coniston Water and Windermere are the closest big lakes. There are plenty of walks from there. The Lake District National Park website has all the details.
If you head south, you can be at the coast near Barrow-in-Furness in under half an hour. It's not sandy, but it's the sea.
In the flat you've got WiFi, a TV, a washing machine. All bedding and towels are included. There's no dedicated parking, but there are public car parks a short walk away.
