The Lodge Pod is in Newton, a small village in South Cumbria. It's for two people. There are a few others on the same site, but they're spaced out.
It's a 3 Star pod. That means it's clean and has what you need, but it's compact. The bed folds down from the wall in the living area. The shower is in an en-suite. There's a kitchenette with a fridge, a hob, and a microwave. We provide tea and coffee.
Outside, you have a private deck with a hot tub. You can use that anytime. There's a barbecue there too, and you can buy fuel for it on site. The pod sits in a field on a 12-acre site, so it's quiet. You can park right next to it.
There's a local pub in the village, about a ten-minute walk. It serves food. The coast is three miles away if you want to go to the beach.
For walking, you're not far from the southern end of the Lake District National Park. Coniston Water and Windermere are both about a 30-minute drive. There's a golf course nearby, and you can go fishing or horse riding locally if you arrange it in advance.
It has Wi-Fi and a TV. All bedding and towels are included. Sorry, no pets.
