Studio 5 is in Ruardean, on the edge of the Forest of Dean. It's a one-bedroom studio apartment on the third floor of an old inn. The building is from the 12th century, so it's full of character, which means a few things. The stairs. They're the original wooden ones. Fine for most, but they're steep and winding.
The studio itself sleeps two. It's all one open-plan room with a double bed, a small kitchen area, seating and a TV. There's a separate bathroom with a bath and a shower over it. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and functional. It's a good base.
Outside, there's a shared seating area at the back you can use. Parking is on site. There's a washing machine, and the bedding and towels are included.
The village is quiet. There are a couple of pubs within walking distance. For a bigger shop, Coleford is about ten minutes away by car.
You're right on the edge of the Forest of Dean. You can walk straight into the woods from here. Good for cycling too. Symonds Yat is about a 15 minute drive. Puzzlewood and Clearwell Caves are also close by, within 20 minutes. For a day out, you can be in Monmouth or Gloucester in under half an hour.
