This is Studio 1. It's on the second floor of a very old inn in Ruardean, in the Forest of Dean. It's a studio, so it's one open room with a kitchen area, a bed, and a small table. There's a separate bathroom. It's rated 3 Star, which means it's clean and functional but not luxurious.
The building is from the 12th century, so the stairs are quite steep and narrow. If you have trouble with stairs, this isn't the place for you. The ceilings are also low in some parts, so mind your head.
It's for two people only, no pets. You get your own space but there's a shared seating area outside that you can use. Parking is on site.
Inside, it's got a double bed, a small kitchen with the basics, a TV, and a bathroom with a bath and shower. There's a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included.
The village is quiet. There's a shop and a couple of pubs within walking distance. For bigger shops, you'd drive to Coleford or Cinderford.
You're right in the Forest of Dean. You can walk straight out into the woods. Forest of Dean has maps for walking and cycling trails. Puzzlewood is about a ten minute drive. Symonds Yat is maybe fifteen minutes. For castles, Goodrich Castle is close by, and you can get to Tintern Abbey in about half an hour. The National Trust looks after some of the local places.
If you're with a bigger group, there are other flats in the same building that can be booked together.
