This is Sunrise Retreat. It's on Plump Hill near Mitcheldean. It's a one-bedroom lodge that sleeps two. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The main thing to know is there are 52 steps up to it. It's on a hill, so the view is good. You can see right across the fields.
It's open plan inside. There's a double bed at one end, then the kitchen and sitting area. It's straightforward. The shower works fine. There's an enclosed garden bit outside.
We keep ducks and chickens here, so you might see them about.
You're right on the edge of the Forest of Dean. You can just walk straight into the woods from here. Symonds Yat is about a twenty minute drive for the views. Puzzlewood and Clearwell Caves are both within half an hour too, if you fancy that sort of thing.
There's parking, Wi-Fi, and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
