West End Farm Lodge Alabaster
West End Farm Lodge Alabaster is a new build. It's a detached lodge on our working farm here in Ruardean, in the Wye Valley. You get good views over the fields.
It sleeps four and has two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom. The main bed can be split into two singles if needed. Everything's on the ground floor.
The decking outside has seating, and there's an enclosed bit of lawn. Dogs are welcome, up to two. There's an outdoor tap for washing bikes or muddy paws.
It's a 4 Star lodge, so it's well finished. It has a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. There's an electric vehicle charger on site.
You're in the Forest of Dean, so walking and cycling are right on the doorstep. The Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty site has maps. For a day out, Puzzlewood is about ten minutes away by car. Tintern Abbey is roughly twenty minutes. Chepstow Castle and the racecourse are about half an hour.
Gloucester is a 25 minute drive for bigger shops. The cathedral there was used in the Harry Potter films.
We live on site, so we're around if you need anything. Dog sitting can sometimes be arranged directly with us.
