The Malt Shovel Inn Apartment
The Malt Shovel Inn Apartment is in Ruardean village, in the Forest of Dean. It's on the first floor of the old inn building, which is from the 12th century. You can see the beams in the ceilings.
It sleeps four people in two bedrooms. One has a double bed with its own ensuite bathroom. The other bedroom has a zip and link bed, so it can be two singles or a super king. There's a second bathroom with a shower too. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and has what you need.
The main room is open plan, with the kitchen, dining area, and living space all together. There's a smart TV and WiFi. The kitchen is fine for making meals. There's a shared seating area outside the main building if you want some air.
You're right in the Forest of Dean. Good for walking straight from the door. Puzzlewood is about a ten minute drive, and Symonds Yat is maybe fifteen minutes. The River Wye is close by for canoeing. Goodrich Castle is nearby and worth a look. For a longer day out, you could drive to Gloucester or Monmouth, both within half an hour.
Facilities include a washing machine, parking, and bedding and towels are provided. No pets allowed.
