Being an ideal location for exploring both Norfolk and Suffolk, you really are spoilt by having so much to do and see. Be sure to bring your golf clubs, there is a golf course, and leisure spa offering beauty treatments - booking essential, on your doorstep. Foodies will delight at the choice of gastro pubs and good restaurants within walking distance or a short drive.

A 13 minutes’ drive is the vibrant City of Norwich, with theatre, castle museum, excellent shopping including two indoor shopping centres, with popular retail outlets and boutiques, plenty of cafés, restaurants, pubs, and market square.

Alternatively spend a day enjoying the famous National Broads National Park, day boats and river trips available locally to explore and navigate the miles of waterways abundant with bird and wildlife. Pretty market towns of Loddon, Beccles, and Bungay are an easy drive with interesting shops, cafés, and riverside eateries to enjoy. The towns of Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich an hours’ drive. Thetford Forest 35 miles for adventure walking, climbing and cycle routes for all abilities.
