The beautiful sandy beach is a firm favourite with families throughout year. During the winter months, the famous Horsey seal colony extends from neighbouring Horsey to Winterton and there are numerous seal pups on the beach and in the sand dunes. The area is also home to a rare bird colony of Little Terns.

On the first floor, the main family bathroom is shared between the spacious master double bedroom and the good-sized twin bedroom. On the ground floor, there is a well-equipped kitchen with toaster, microwave, electric hob, built-in oven, dishwasher, washe/dryer, and large American style fridge-freezer. The dining area has seating for six and leads into the lounge area with Smart TV, books, and games. Wi-Fi is free and super-fast. There is also a downstairs cloakroom and toilet. The fully enclosed back garden is a private and secluded suntrap with comfortable garden furniture and Mediterranean plants.
There is lots to see and do in the area. Historic and beautiful Norwich is 22 miles away with a cathedral, a castle, and the best shopping in East Anglia. Great Yarmouth, 9 miles, is a lively and traditional sea-side resort with plenty to occupy the family. The Norfolk Broads National Park, 6 miles, offers boat hire, fishing, sailing and sightseeing. For children there is BeWILDerwood at Horning, an outdoor tree house adventure site with zip wires, jungle bridges, marsh walks and boat rides, all of which add up to great day out. Horsey Mill also to be found locally is well worth a visit.
