Butter Pen
Butter Pen was originally a milking parlour and has been restored by the owners, retaining much of the charm combined with modern conveniences. The open plan living area with beams has patio doors leading to the secluded decking area with its mature garden, perfect for relaxing on those warm evenings. This delightful cottage, nestled in the Waveney Valley, is adjacent to the owner’s home, surrounded by 6 acres of land with 160 acres of adjoining, un-spoilt peaceful walks with plenty of wildlife. The ideal spot to relax and unwind following a day of exploring all this fantastic areas has to offer.
The village of Denton borders both Suffolk and Norfolk with stunning scenery and the flat landscapes. There is much to see and do in both counties including fishing, walking, canoeing, golf and exploring the rural villages and larger towns on the Suffolk Heritage Coast. The Norfolk Broads National Park is close by and starts in the market town of Beccles, where you can hire a boat or visit the many riverside pubs and restaurants. Flixton Air Museum is a superb day out, and further afield are Dunwich Heath and the RSPB nature reserve at Minsmere. Beach 21 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 4 miles.
