Nelly Cottage nestles in the Suffolk countryside, a spacious, detached holiday cottage boasting sociable open plan contemporary living with a lovely, enclosed, private lawn garden. Southwold is only a 15 minutes’ drive, where you will find all the seaside attractions including a working lighthouse, award winning pier, shops, and plenty of restaurants and pubs. The coastal town of Aldeburgh is a 20 minutes’ drive away.

Shopaholics will delight in that Norwich City, Bury St Edmunds, and Ipswich are all approximately one hours’ drive away. A pretty market town of Halesworth with boutiques, shops, supermarkets, and eateries is just 1. 4 miles away. The market town of Beccles, 10 miles away, has a Lido outdoor swimming pool and is the gateway to the Broads National Park. Daily boat hire, kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding tuition and hire available, or simply sit back and enjoy a river trip excursion.

The cottage is ideally situated for enjoying many outdoor activities, including walking, bird watching, cycling, fishing, golf, horse riding, and for the more adventurous there is also llama trekking. There are plenty of gastro pubs and restaurants to visit within the surrounding area. Truly a great base to explore the gentle Suffolk and Norfolk countryside and all its delights. Visit the Snape Maltings Concert Hall, Sutton Hoo and Dunwich Heath. Supermarket, shops, pubs and eateries are all within 1. 4 miles.
