This light and spacious lodge is situated on the beautiful Stonham Barns Leisure Park, set in one hundred and ten acres of picturesque countryside. The living area offers the perfect place to sit and read, watch TV or play family games. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms consist of a master bedroom which has a kingsize bed, with en-suite bathroom and the second bedroom has a single bed which converts into a double and there is a separate shower room.
Stonham Barns has an array of activities to suit all ages, for the children there are amusements, adventure golf, play barn and new for 2023 an Aqua Park. The two fishing lakes set in a tree-lined corner are fully stocked with a mixture of carp, tench and bream weighing up to 25lbs. The popular Suffolk Owl Sanctuary on site is home to over eighty owls and birds of prey, meerkats, ferrets, rabbits and red squirrels. Flying displays are held daily from Easter to September. There is a large bar/restaurant where you can watch sports, play darts, air hockey and amusement area for the children, there is also an outside garden area.
Why not pop along to the onsite theatre and watch a music act? If you fancy a bit of retail therapy there is an array of independent retailers including a hairdresser, teapot pottery, café and antique centre. If you can tear yourself from Stonham Barns then take a visit to the Suffolk coast, this is a great way to spend the day. Southwold offers an array of independent shops and restaurants and is home to Adnams Brewery. Thorpeness is situated around the Mere with its Peter Pan themed islands. Aldeburgh has a famous fish and chip shop you can visit. A town treasure trail is an ideal way to learn about the historic town of Bury St Edmunds, which takes its name from King Edmund, the original patron saint of England and whose shrine is in the picturesque abbey. There is so much to see and enjoy.
