The property has an open-plan downstairs layout, large enough for up to eight guests. The kitchen is modern and well equipped with a double oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, and butler sink. It looks over to the dining area and is great for socialising. The bi-fold doors open onto the garden.

The pretty town of Manningtree, known for the self-appointed Witchfinder General, is just a mile away and is famous as being the smallest town in England. Beautiful walks along the river, shops, bars, and restaurants make this a place not to be missed. Just 9 miles away is the historic town of Colchester with its castle, museum, zoo an array of shops, bars, and restaurants. The Dedham Vale, in the Stour Valley an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offers a wide range of activities for the whole family, from rowing, canoeing, wildlife spotting, walks and hunting for legendary myths is only 3 miles away. Constable country and Flatford Mill is nearby. The beaches of Brightlingsea and Mersea Island are within easy access.
