It has its own private seating garden to enjoy, as well as shared access to the extensive large lawn grounds with a tennis court . Being an ideal location for exploring both Norfolk and Suffolk, you really are spoilt by having so much to do and see. Be sure to bring your golf clubs as there is a golf course, as well as a leisure spa on your doorstep offering beauty treatments . Foodies will delight in the choice of gastro pubs and good restaurants available within walking distance or a short drive.
A 13-minute drive away is the vibrant city of Norwich, with its theatre, castle museum, excellent shopping with popular retail outlets and boutiques, plus plenty of cafés, restaurants, pubs and a market square. Alternatively spend a day enjoying the famous Broads National Park where day boats and river trips area available locally to explore and navigate the miles of waterways abounding with bird and wildlife.
The pretty market towns of Loddon, Beccles and Bungay an easy drive with interesting shops, cafés, and riverside eateries to enjoy. The towns of Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich are an hour’s drive. Thetford Forest is 35 miles away for adventure walking, climbing and cycle routes for all abilities; Whitlingham Country Park has boating hire and tuition available, or simply enjoy the circular walk around the lake itself.
