The Catacombs
The Catacombs is a flat in the Barbican, Plymouth. The Barbican is the old part of town by the harbour. The front door is on a narrow, cobbled street with pubs and restaurants right there.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bathroom is downstairs. It's got a 5 Star rating. The place survived a bombing in the war and was rebuilt, so the layout is unusual. It's all open plan downstairs, with the kitchen and living area together. There's underfloor heating.
It's set up with a lot of tech: smart lights, Sonos speakers, a big TV in the main bedroom, and Alexa. There's also a small study room with a printer you can use.
There's an honesty wine store in one of the old storage rooms. And an electric vehicle charger on site.
You're in the middle of everything. The Mayflower Steps are a short walk. The National Marine Aquarium is very close. For a beach, you'd need to drive, about seven miles.
Within half an hour you can get onto Dartmoor, or go along the coast towards Salcombe or down towards Cornwall. The South West Coast Path is accessible.
Facilities: parking for one car on site, WiFi, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. A cot and highchair are there if needed. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
