Waterside Cottage
Waterside Cottage is in Saltash, right on the Cornwall side of the River Tamar. You look straight out at the river and the two bridges. The view is the main thing.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and has what you need but it's not luxury. There are ten steps up from the road to the front garden. The stairs inside are standard cottage stairs.
The kitchen is at the back. It's got the basics: oven, fridge, washing machine. There's a small enclosed garden there too, gets the sun in the evening. Everything is included: bedding, towels, electricity.
You can bring one dog. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
Saltash itself has the essentials: a few shops, a couple of pubs. The big supermarket is just over the Tamar Bridge in Plymouth. Plymouth is about a 15 minute drive. You've got the naval history there, the Barbican, the Hoe.
For getting out, you're well placed. You can walk onto the Tamar Valley trails from here. The coast is about a 25 minute drive, depending on traffic. Looe and Whitsand Bay are that way. Dartmoor is about half an hour north. Plymouth, as I said, is very close.
