Little Penquite is a barn conversion near Landrake in Cornwall. It's detached and sits behind private gates, so it's quiet. You get the whole garden and plenty of parking.
It sleeps two. One bedroom with a four poster bed and an en-suite shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is full of stonework and beams. There's a wood burner in the main room and skylights that make it bright. The stairs are more like a step ladder, really. They're fine if you're steady on your feet.
Outside there's a covered terrace and a garden with a swing seat. Facilities are all there: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, towels included. It's all on the ground floor once you're inside.
The location is rural. You're a short drive from Whitsand Bay for a beach. The fishing village of Looe is about twenty minutes away. For a good walk, the Tamar Valley is on the doorstep, and National Trust Cornwall places like Cotehele and Lanhydrock are within half an hour.
If you're interested in golf, St Mellion and Portwrinkle are both nearby. Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor are within reach for a longer drive if you want proper moorland.
No pets, I'm afraid.
