Pickdick Stable

This is Pickdick Stable, out on Broadland Row. It used to be an old stable block on a hop farm. We've done it up. It's detached and sits in our garden, but it's all private for you.

It's just for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom with a shower. It's got the top rating. It's comfortable and everything's new, but it's still a converted stable, so the rooms are cosy. The main space is all open plan.

You're surrounded by woods and fields here. You can walk straight out from the door. The lane is quiet. It's very peaceful.

The nearest pub and shop are about two miles away in the village. Brede is the closest proper village. Rye is about fifteen minutes by car. It's all cobbles and old buildings, nice for a wander. They've got the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve there too, which is good for birdwatching.

Camber Sands beach is about twenty minutes away. It's a big sandy beach. Hastings is in the other direction, maybe half an hour. It's got the old town and the fishing beach.

Inside, it's got what you'd need: a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. The bedding and towels are included. There's a BBQ outside and parking right by the door. No pets, I'm afraid.

If you're looking for things to do, 1066 Country has all the local information. Bodiam Castle is about a twenty-five minute drive and is run by the National Trust.
