This is Winchelsea Cottage. It's in the village of Winchelsea in East Sussex. It's an end-terrace cottage, painted white. You can walk straight out into the village streets from the front door.
It sleeps five people. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's a straightforward, clean sort of place, not too fancy.
The garden is a decent size. It gets the sun in the afternoon. There's a table and chairs out there. You've got neighbours either side, but the garden itself is private.
The main bedroom looks out over the lane and the churchyard. The stairs inside are typical of a cottage like this: a bit steep and narrow.
There's a pub, The New Inn, a two minute walk away. They do food. The village shop is also close. It's good for basics and they sell some local bits, like jams and pastries.
For the facilities: there's a washing machine and a tumble dryer in the utility room. No dishwasher. There's WiFi and a TV. The heating is gas central heating, and there's a gas fireplace in the living room that works. Bedding and towels are included.
You can drive to Winchelsea Beach in about five minutes. It's a shingle beach, good for a walk. Rye is ten minutes away by car. It's an old town with cobbled streets and tea rooms. Hastings is about twenty minutes drive. If you want to walk, the 1066 Country Walk goes through here. You're also near the Royal Military Canal path.
