This is Saltmarsh Cottage, in Camber. It's a short walk to the beach. The cottage is on a small estate built in a New England style, so it looks a bit different from the older houses around here.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one double and one twin. There's one bathroom, with a bath and a shower over it. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable.
Downstairs is open plan, so the kitchen, dining table and living area are all in one room. The kitchen has everything you'd need. There's a utility room with a washing machine, and a downstairs toilet. Doors lead out to a small terrace garden with a fence around it. It gets the sun.
The beach is the main thing here. Camber Sands is a big sandy beach with dunes. It's about a five minute walk. The sea is good for swimming and people do kite surfing. There's a pub a few minutes away. Rye is about three miles away. It's an old town with cobbled streets, good for a wander and something to eat.
If you like walking and wildlife, Rye Harbour Nature Reserve is close by. Dungeness is about a 20 minute drive, it's a very strange, flat landscape. For history, Bodiam Castle is roughly half an hour away.
Facilities: there's WiFi, a TV, allocated parking for two cars, and all bedding and towels are included. No pets.
