This is Saltmarsh Cottage in Camber. It's one of those weatherboarded houses on the Whitesands estate, the one that looks a bit like New England. You're about a five minute walk from the beach.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one double and one twin. One bathroom with a bath and a shower over it. The stairs are standard, they're fine. It's got a 4 Star rating so it's in good order.
Downstairs is all open plan. Kitchen, table, sofa. The back door goes out to a small patio garden with a picket fence. It gets the sun in the morning, good for a coffee. There's a utility room with a washer-dryer off the kitchen, handy for sandy things.
You've got parking for two cars on the drive.
Camber beach is the main thing, all sand and dunes. The village has a shop and a post office. There's a pub about five minutes walk away. For a proper walk, Rye Harbour Nature Reserve is close. Dungeness is about a twenty minute drive, it's an unusual place.
Rye is three miles away. Cobbled streets, pubs, that sort of thing. Hastings and Battle are within half an hour if you want a day out. Ashford is about thirty minutes for the station if you need to get a train.
What's here: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, bedding and towels are included. The place is decorated for Christmas if you book then. No pets.
