Newhope
Newhope is on Winchelsea Beach. It's a modern detached place, so no neighbours through the walls. There's a private courtyard garden that's fully enclosed, which is handy if you bring a dog.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating so it's in good order. It's all on one level, which makes it straightforward to get around. Patio doors open from the living area straight into the garden.
The beach is about a three minute walk. The local shop is maybe five minutes, the pub and a restaurant about seven. They're fine for the basics. Rye Harbour Nature Reserve is a mile away if you like coastal walks and birdwatching. The Friends of Rye Harbour site is good for maps and sightings.
Rye is about three miles. It's a historic town with cobbled streets, good for a wander and a meal. Hastings is seven miles. Camber Sands, with its big sandy beach, is a 15 minute drive. For more structure, you can look at the National Trust page for ideas in the area.
Facilities wise: everything's included in the price, there's parking right there, and bedding and towels are provided. You can bring one well-behaved dog. The garden is secure.
