Garden Cottage

Garden Cottage is in Icklesham, down a quiet lane that leads to a farm. It's a one bedroom place, sleeps two. You get your own lawned garden. It looks over a field towards one of the owner's lakes.

It's a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean and comfortable, not luxurious. It's just the one floor, so no stairs to worry about. You can bring up to two dogs.

There's a wood burner in the sitting room. It makes the place very cosy in winter. You can see the garden from the main room.

The owners have two lakes on their land, a short walk away through the field. One is used for fishing. You're welcome to walk around there.

The nearest pub is about a mile away. For the coast, Winchelsea beach is a short drive. Hastings Country Park is close by for walks. Rye is about fifteen minutes away by car.

The 1066 walking route starts right from the cottage gate and goes all the way to Battle. It's a proper country walk.

Facilities are straightforward: WiFi, TV, washing machine, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
