Garden Cottage

Garden Cottage is on a farm just outside Icklesham. It's down a quiet lane, so it's quiet. You get views over the garden to a lake in the neighbours' field.

It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean, not fussy.

There's a lawned garden and a log burner in the sitting room. It's got WiFi, a TV, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.

The lane goes up to a farm, so you can just walk straight out into fields. There are two lakes on the farm land a short walk away, if you like that sort of thing.

For the coast, Winchelsea beach is a few minutes in the car. Rye is about a 15-minute drive; it's got the cobbled streets and old buildings. The 1066 walking route starts nearby and goes all the way to Battle, if you want a long walk. Hastings Country Park is close by for more walking.

There's a pub less than a mile away. They do food.

You can book it with Stable Cottage next door if you need more room.
