The Cottage is in Fairlight, up on the cliffs above Hastings. It's a 4 Star place. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. No pets, sorry.
It's a three-storey apartment attached to the side of our house, but it's completely private. You get your own entrance. The stairs are normal, not like a steep old cottage.
The main thing is the view. You look out over our garden and straight down the coast. It's properly good. You're welcome to use the garden and the bit of woodland, it's about two acres in total. There's a patio with a BBQ.
Inside, it's all there. Washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right there.
The local shop is about a quarter of a mile walk. There's a pub half a mile away. A restaurant is two miles.
Hastings is a few miles down the road. Rye is about a twenty minute drive. For a big day out, you've got Bodiam Castle and the Sissinghurst Castle Gardens within half an hour. The whole area is part of the High Weald National Landscape.
That's about it. It's clean, comfortable, and the view does most of the work.
