Moray Hastings View is a flat on the first floor of an old Georgian building in Hastings. You look straight out at the sea.
It sleeps up to six, but there's only one bedroom with a double bed. The other four people would be on sofa beds in the living room. So it's best for a couple or a family with kids who don't mind that. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's one bathroom.
The main thing is the view. The living room has French doors that open onto a balcony. You can sit there and watch the sea. The building is on the main road along the seafront, so you will hear traffic. You also get the sound of the waves.
If there's an event on the beach, like the bonfire night fireworks or the carnival, you can see it from the window. You don't have to go out.
The flat is open plan. There's an original fireplace and the furniture is modern. It's clean. The dining table extends for six.
You're right on the seafront. The beach is a couple of minutes' walk. There's a shop and places to eat about 100 yards away, and a pub about 200 yards.
Hastings itself is busy. There's the pier, the amusement arcades, mini golf, and the cliffs at East Hill and West Hill you can walk up. The Old Town has a lot of history and good pubs. You're close to all of it.
If you drive, Battle Abbey is about 20 minutes away. The Bodiam Castle is about half an hour. The coast towards Rye and Camber Sands is also within 30 minutes.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, TV, and a cot if you need it. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. Parking is on-street, so you'll need to find a space.
