Hayfield Haven is a single pod on our farm in Crowhurst. It sleeps two. There's one main room, a small kitchen area, and a shower room.
The main thing is the view. It's east-facing, so you get the sunrise, and it looks out over the fields. The front wall is mostly glass. There are blinds for privacy at night.
It's on a working arable farm. You'll see the tractors going past sometimes. There's a footpath next to the pod that leads down into Coombe Valley, which is good for walks.
Inside, it's all open plan. The sofa folds out into an occasional double bed if you need it. The bed is at the back. The kitchen has a two-ring hob, a small oven, fridge, and microwave. There's a round dining table.
Outside, there's a fire pit with a barbecue griddle. The outside lights come on automatically when it gets dark. The parking space is about twenty yards from the pod.
Crowhurst village has a pub, The Plough. It's about a fifteen minute walk. The train station is there too, with services to London.
Battle is ten minutes away by car. They've got shops, cafes, and the Battle Abbey site. The coast at Hastings is about twenty minutes drive.
Further afield, you've got places like Bodiam Castle and the town of Rye. Both are within half an hour.
Facilities: there's WiFi, parking, bed linen and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
