This is Apple Cottage in Sedlescombe. It's a one bedroom place, sleeps two. We're on a small farm. There are sheep and pigs in the fields around you. If you like animals, it's nice. If you don't, maybe not.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable. The bed is upstairs on a mezzanine level, so the bedroom isn't a separate room. The stairs up to it are a ship's ladder, quite steep. Just so you know.
You have your own enclosed garden with a patio. There's parking right outside. It has wifi, a TV, a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can take up to two dogs.
The village pub is about a ten minute walk across the field. It's a proper old pub on the green. The shop is about a mile away in the village.
Battle Abbey and the battlefield are very close, maybe a five minute drive. You can start the 1066 walk from here. Hastings is about twenty minutes by car. Rye and Camber Sands are about half an hour away. Bodiam Castle is also within half an hour.
