Ivy Cottage Ewhurst Green

Ivy Cottage is near Ewhurst Green in East Sussex. It's a converted barn, detached, so you're on your own. It's on the edge of our sheep farm, but it's got its own garden with a stream along one side. It's about 300 yards from our house.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, clean, and everything works.

The garden has a patio and a barbecue. Inside there's a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is right there.

You can walk straight from the door into the countryside. The local pub is about half a mile away for food. Shops are a couple of miles in Robertsbridge.

Bodiam Castle is a ten minute drive. It's a proper ruined castle with a moat, run by the National Trust. The Kent and East Sussex steam railway runs from there to Tenterden. You can get a fishing day ticket at the farm in Hawkhurst, two miles away.

Camber Sands is about twenty five minutes by car if you want a big beach. Rye is about eleven miles, it's an old town on a hill with good places to eat. For gardens, Sissinghurst and Great Dixter are within half an hour.
