Ivy Cottage
Ivy Cottage is ours. It's a detached barn conversion on the edge of a working sheep farm. You've got your own garden and there's a stream along one side, but you can hear the sheep sometimes. It's quiet here.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and a bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating so it's in good order, comfortable. You're about 300 yards from our house. There's parking right there.
The place has what you need. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a travel cot and highchair. There's a BBQ out in the garden.
There's a pub about half a mile away, they do food. The nearest proper shops are in Hawkhurst, about two miles. A fishing place is there too if that's your thing.
You can walk straight out from the door into the countryside. Bodiam Castle is a short drive away, maybe ten minutes. Bodiam Castle is worth looking at if you like that sort of thing. Rye is about eleven miles, Camber Sands is a bit further. The steam railway is nearby, you can get on at Bodiam.
For gardens, Sissinghurst is probably 20 minutes by car. Sissinghurst Castle Garden has all the information. Pashley Manor and Great Dixter are in the area too.
