The Cart Lodge
The Cart Lodge is a converted barn on our land, right next to our house. It's all on one floor, so no stairs to worry about. It's detached, so it's just you out there.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own shower room, which is really handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's smart and clean.
The main thing is the view. The big windows look straight out over fields. It's a proper countryside view.
You've got your own enclosed patio with a BBQ. There's parking right outside the door. Inside, it's open plan. There's a TV, WiFi, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them. Sorry, no pets.
There's a pub about half a mile away in Hooe. They do food. The nearest shop is a mile away in Ninfield.
You're about two miles from the coast. Pevensey Bay is good if you're into windsurfing or kitesurfing. Battle is ten minutes up the road. It's worth a visit for the 1066 Battlefield and Abbey. Hastings is about twenty minutes away by car.
If you want to explore further, the Seven Sisters and Beachy Head are within half an hour. For a longer trip, you can get to Brighton or Eastbourne in about forty minutes.
