The Cart Lodge
The Cart Lodge is a barn conversion on our land in Broadstreet Green. It's detached and single storey, so everything's on the ground floor. It's next to our house but you've got your own space and it's private.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles. There are two shower rooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
The main room is open plan. It looks out over the garden and the fields beyond. The view goes on a fair way. The garden is enclosed, there's a patio with a BBQ and parking right outside.
The village is quiet. The local pub is about half a mile away, they do food. The nearest shop is a mile in Hooe. The coast is about two miles from here. Pevensey Bay is good for windsurfing if you're into that.
Battle is a ten minute drive. It's called that because of the 1066 battle. The abbey is there. English Heritage run it. Hastings is about twenty minutes by car.
Inside, there's a washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
