The Cabin
The Cabin is basically a small studio cottage in our garden. We've just had it all redone. It's for two people.
It's detached, so it's just you out there. There's a little enclosed garden. Everything is on one level.
The main thing is the location. You go out the gate and straight onto the footpath to the beach. It's a sand and pebble beach, about a hundred yards away. It's very quiet.
There's a shop and a pub about half a mile away. You can walk to Sovereign Harbour Marina, which has restaurants and a cinema.
If you like history, Pevensey Castle is close by. It's an English Heritage site, which you can look up for opening times: Pevensey Castle. The 1066 Country Walk starts from there. Rye and Hastings are about half an hour's drive. Battle Abbey is the same.
Facilities are straightforward. There's a shower room, a TV, WiFi, parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean, comfortable and has what you need, but it's not luxury.
