High House Holiday Cottages 1
High House Holiday Cottage No 1 is in Hooe, East Sussex. It's one of two cottages we converted from an old barn. This one's for two people.
It has one bedroom and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. The layout is all open-plan downstairs. You've got a patio out the front that looks over our orchard and the fields.
The village itself is quiet. There's a shop and a pub about three-quarters of a mile up the road. The beach at Pevensey Bay is three miles away. It's pebbly and doesn't get too crowded. The castle there is worth a look.
You're in a good spot for getting out. Eastbourne and its beaches are about a fifteen minute drive. The South Downs National Park is on your doorstep for walking. Battle, where the Hastings battle happened, is maybe twenty minutes by car. They've got the abbey and the usual town shops.
In terms of what's here, the cottage has a washing machine, TV, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can take one well-behaved dog.
